Once you’ve drunk from the spring, head back into the chamber that had the Gargoyles, break the crates in the southeast of the room for some Cold Soup, then head north into the final passage of the dungeon. Head back out and do the same to the blocked passage to the east inside you’ll find Hard Bread, more silver Coins, and an extremely useful Spring of Experience, which will let you level up two units instantly. Once you’ve cleared out the area, break down the stones blocking the passageway to the west you’ll find a Spring of Resistance inside. Similar to Bonewalkers, Gargoyles are pretty hardy- Leon is invaluable here with his Bowrange +1 and Anti-Fliers Arts, and of course Seraphim magic will do a number on them if you’ve got it. Follow it around and to the north, and you’ll enter a slightly larger chamber home to a new type of Terror: the Gargoyle! Engage them if you wish, but keep in mind these battles are a bit more even than earlier dungeon encounters, at least where the number of units is concerned. While you’re here, fight all the Terrors you can: they drop easily, and those experience points are invaluable! At the north end of this chamber, there is a passage to the west. ![]() You’ll enter a small chamber with supplies to break do so, and you’ll find some Cold Soup, Hard Bread, and a few Silver Coins. Once you’ve had your fill, break open the sealed-off passage to head north again. Finally, make an offering to the idol to remove any fatigue your units are facing, then go north, You’ll enter a Sacred Springs with Water of Skill on the left and Water of HP on the right. It will give you some crucial backstory about Celica, Mycen, Desaix, Slayde, and Celica’s brother Conrad. After the conversation is over, you’ll want to head north before you do that, though, use the Mila Idol to view the Memory Prism you just picked up. He’ll then tell you that he’s heard about the legendary sword that’s supposed to be found in the shrine, but that he hasn’t located it… though he did hear some wind coming in near a well to the north. As a way of thanking you for the food, and for defeating the Necrodragon, he’ll give you 30 Silver Coins. The Feeble Man will ask for some food, so give him some. Next, talk to Boey, Genny, and the Feeble Man. Inside the chamber, examine the area to collect some Mana Herbs and a Memory Prism. Head to the north exit to reach the Mila Idol chamber. There’s not much to this area: you can break some barrels for a Silver Coin or two, but otherwise, you should use this area to grind some extra experience on the Revenants and Bonewalkers that stalk the cave. Was it worth the trouble? Only one way to find out! The first part of the Seaboard Shrine Interior is a very small dungeon consisting of a single path that forks in two before quickly rejoining.
